John Keels Holdings (JKH) has written to President Gotabaya Rajapaksa yesterday, offering John Keells Group’s resort in Trincomalee (Trinco Blu by Cinnamon) for use as a temporary quarantine centre for COVID-19 suspected patients, should the need arise.
While this property was offered due to its proximity to the Naval base in Trincomalee, JKH is also open to discussions for offering other properties for this purpose, based on the arising needs, a spokesman from JKH told NewsWire.
Meanwhile the Hotels Association of Sri Lanka today said that the Association is willing to work with the membership to offer selected hotel facilities in the battle against preventing the spread of COVID-19 in the country.
