Advocating for Sustainable Growth
We work closely with Government, tourism authorities and industry partners, providing industry insights, recommendations and practical solutions that create a more conducive environment for investment and sustainable growth.
Protecting Natural Heritage
The protection of Sri Lanka’s natural habitats and biodiversity is a prerequisite for the sustainable development of tourism. THASL is committed to working closely with wildlife conservation authorities on issues that threaten them, such as elephant poaching.
Responsible Hospitality
We promote responsible hospitality practices, professional excellence and innovation across member hotels of every star category — from city hotels and global brands to boutique and family-owned properties.
Sustainability Committee
The Association has designated committees for Marketing, Sustainability and Human Resources, which organise activities such as trainings and fundraising events in the interest of the membership.
Investing in People
A sustainable industry depends on its people. Through initiatives such as the Rising Star Awards and awareness sessions on careers in hospitality, THASL encourages young talent and professional development.
